HOME      KIDS CAMP

Kids Camp is designed for ages 5 to 12 years old. The camp focuses on skills, fun, and sportsmanship. The daily curriculum consists of three stages of development each day.

The first stage always consists of the basic skills. Each day we will focus on a new skill including dribbling, passing, juggling, receiving, etc. These skills are practiced with a wide array of fun activities and games that challenge the players. It helps the player develop both their gross and fine motor skills using ball manipulation, balance, and eye-foot coordination. It is also very important to our staff for each player to have confidence using both feet while playing soccer.

The second stage is 1v1 development in the attack, defense, and transition. 1v1 is the best way for young players to develop confidence on the ball and showcase and practice their skills of ball manipulation that they have practiced in stage one. This stage brings a little more friendly competition out of campers and is fast paced fun.

Stage three is small sided game play. All over the world, the best youth trainers and coaches all agree that small sided soccer is the best way for players to develop confidence and technique. It also brings some tactics into play as they now have more elements of pressure and decision making processes placed on the them. Throughout the week the campers play a World Cup tournament at the end of each day.

Kids Camp has theme days during the week, and some include: crazy sock day, crazy hair day, uniform day, and competition day. If we are lucky we even get a special visit by our local fire department on the last day of camp to help cool us off from a week of hard work!! (A towel and a change of clothes is advised!)

The staff for Kids Camp is made up of highly successful former high school players, current college players, and professional coaches under the direction of camp clinician Rich Elder.

All in all, Kids Camp is a week full of soccer, friends, and fun!
