The Elite Camp is for the player that plays or desires to play at a competitive level. The camp focuses on all four pillars of the game: fitness, tactical, technical, and mental. The camp is ideal for players ages 11-18 years. The Elite Camp is coached by successful college players and professional coaches only, and under the direction of camp clinician, Richard Elder. This camp is demanding in all areas of the game.
The curriculum has a progression that is followed each day. It starts out with a dynamic warm-up increasing the player’s range of motion and athletic potential. It then goes into fast footwork, speed, over speed, and agility exercises, which are all needed at the highest levels of play. The next progression is fast paced technical work, along with some type of physical or mental demands. There is a theme for the day which includes combination play, possession with a purpose, group defending, speed of play, and transition play. The camp is wrapped up in games with a emphasis on the theme of the day.
This elite camp is intense and demanding from start to finish. It is important to come to this camp physically fit. |
