Rich Elder is both the founder and director of K.I.D.S. CAMP INC. He has helped K.I.D.S. CAMP grow over the past 6 years. He strives to develop soccer players at all levels of the game, but most importantly, instill a love and passion for the game.
Rich has been a coach for nearly 20 years, and has experience coaching both boys and girls at many different levels of soccer. His love of coaching first started when he volunteered in High School helping out local youth teams. As his passion grew, so did his experience which includes: 9 years as a volunteer youth coach at Klein Soccer Club, 4 years as a select club soccer trainer, 5 years in the US Olympic Development program, 15 years working for the most successful residential camps in the country, 12 years as a High School soccer coach, and 3 years working for the Houston Dynamo, as the Jr. Academy Director.
Rich's credentials and certificates for coaching include: National "A" license with the United States Soccer Federation, an Advanced National Diploma with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, a Goal Keeping level II license with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, High School Coach of the year for the Region II of Texas in 2007, 13-5A District Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2009, and has been named Senior Showcase coach in 2000 and 2007 for the Region II of Texas.
Rich has brought his wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and experience of developing soccer players to K.I.D.S CAMP. |
